By Day 1 of Week One, your instructor will assign you one of the following options to complete as your initial post for this discussion.

• Option 1: Chapter 17 Box 17-3 Advantages and Disadvantages of the Big Bang approach. Review Box 17-4 on page 285 of the textbook, which presents the key points of two approaches for implementing and upgrading an information system. You will be assigned one of two positions: the Big Bang approach or the incremental approach. Prepare a statement supporting the approach assigned to you and provide specific examples justifying your position.

Your initial post should be 250 to 300 words. In addition to the textbook, utilize a minimum of two scholarly sources to support your points. Cite and reference your sources in APA format as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
