Circuit training is a systematic approach to cardiovascular fitness through the use of multiple machines and aerobic equipment. This course will combine instruction of a physical activity or sport and health and wellness curriculum, delivered on-line and in the classroom. The emphasis will be on varying exercises that are grouped and performed to enhance cardiovascular and muscular strength and endurance development. Basic physiological, nutritional, flexibility and body composition concepts will also be discussed.
